Logan Property Market – Why Are Southerners Missing Out?

Logan Property Market

Logan Ticks All the Investment Property Boxes – Why Are Southerners Missing Out?

Logan, the younger sister to metropolitan Brisbane, is often overlooked when it comes to investment and purchasing to own and develop. It is occasionally assumed that this is a ‘no go’ area under the misnomer that the facilities and infrastructure just aren’t there to support an ongoing lifestyle. However, nothing could be further from the truth! Logan is fast becoming a growth area and the Logan property market is one full of potential and promise.

Logan Property Market – An Inside View

Logan has, in recent years, become the go-to area when it comes to investment and property ownership. Low listings, high price predictions and increasing demand from interstate (and from those in southern states looking to flee from restrictions to forge a new life north of the border) have combined to indicate increasing interest in the region.

The forecast remains strong for the 2021-2022 period as median house prices in the area sit comfortably at around $300,300 – still underneath cousins Brisbane and the Gold Coast but nestled safely at a level that’s affordable and sustainable. Logan Reserve, considered one of the top suburbs in the region with an annual growth rate of 2.25%, saw a median house price rise of close to 7% and maintains a rental yield level of close to 5%. This is but one example which indicates that now is the time to make a serious investment in the satellite city.

Premium Suburbs in Logan QLD

Logan Reserve remains at the top of the list in terms of investing in the Logan property market. Other suburbs of note are Springwood, Loganholme, Cornubia, Tanah Merah, Daisy Hill and Slacks Creek.

Liveable Lifestyles in Logan

Access to the Logan Hyperdome, highways travelling north and south, beautiful parks and rivers and the promise of future development combine to make this an area to watch. An area that has suffered from inaccurate and offensive stereotypes for a long time, this locale is actually filled with much promise for those looking to invest outside of the scope of larger cities like Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
